Here is a cage that seeks to silence the animals within, who seek to fly, or to rest.
Laced wire that cuts into the music of my flesh, measuring me for aesthetics, to ensure the comfort of someone else’s eyes.
Strange thing, webbed eyes, its tentacles holding on and feeding off the soft musings of my skin.
